I did it. Yesterday I told myself I was either going to hit 60,000 words or the end of my manuscript, and guess what, 7abibty ana?
I did both.
I use Toggl to keep track of my writing springs, and I wrote for 6 and a half hours. Towards the end I stopped sprinting and just pushed to the end of the manuscript. I started writing around 9:30am finished around 8pm.
Our final wordcount for the day?
An all-time personal best for me.
And then I cleaned up some typos after dinner, converted it to a .mobi file and sent it off to my first readers.
Hopefully I’ll hear from them soon! In the meantime, I think I’ve earned a rest day. I’m going to shower and get lunch with family and maybe get a haircut. You know, really thrilling stuff.
And I’ll SLEEP.
I’ll be back when I resurface.
